Refund policy
We want you confident every time you shop with Muay Thai Fight Gear. If something isn’t right, we’ll sort it quickly and professionally.
Below is everything you need to know about returns, exchanges and warranty claims.
1. Incorrect, Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives and something isn’t correct, wrong item, missing item, transit damage or a potential fault, please contact us as soon as possible.
Submit your request via email our Returns & Issue Form (link to be added).
Include photos and a short explanation so our team can assist promptly.
Timeframes
To ensure we can properly assess your claim, please notify us within:
- 7 days for incorrect, missing or transit-damaged items
- 14 days for suspected manufacturing faults
The sooner you contact us, the faster we can resolve it.
2. Assessment of Faults
All claims are carefully reviewed to determine whether the issue is:
- A genuine manufacturing defect, or
- The result of normal wear and tear, misuse, storage conditions, or impact damage
If your item is confirmed faulty:
- We’ll issue a Reply Paid shipping label
- Inspect the product
- Arrange a repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate
Our goal is always a fair and fast resolution.
3. Change of Mind Returns - 30 Days
Changed your mind? No problem.
We accept eligible returns within:
- 30 days of purchase (in-store)
- 30 days from delivery date (online orders)
Returned items must be:
- In original packaging
- Unused and unwashed
- Odour-free
- Free from makeup, deodorant or sweat marks
- In resale condition
All change-of-mind returns must be submitted via our Returns & Issue Form.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method, excluding original shipping costs.
4. Non-Returnable Items (Hygiene & Safety)
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless confirmed faulty:
- Mouthguards
- Groin guards
- Undergarments (including sports bras and compression wear)
- Hand wraps (unless unopened)
- Clearance or final sale items
- Any item showing signs of use, sweat, odour or deodorant
- Used training equipment (gloves, pads, shin guards, headgear, MMA gloves, etc.)
This policy protects all customers and maintains hygiene standards.
5. Exchanges
Need a different size?
We’re happy to exchange items within 30 days, provided they meet return conditions.
Exchange process:
- Customer covers postage to return the original item
- Customer covers shipping for the replacement item
- Via prepaid satchel, or
- Via secure payment invoice issued by us
If the requested size is unavailable, we’ll issue a refund (excluding shipping).
6. Warranty & Australian Consumer Law
All products sold by Muay Thai Fight Gear are covered under Australian Consumer Law.
Some products may also carry manufacturer warranties.
Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not damage caused by use.
Not considered warranty faults:
- Sweat or odour deterioration
- Cracked leather from moisture exposure
- Padding softening from regular training
- Fading from sunlight or washing
- Scratches, abrasions or mat burn
- Torn seams or stretched elastic due to excessive force
- Incorrect product use (e.g., bag work with non-bag gloves)
- Items stored damp or sealed in training bags
Combat sports gear is designed for impact. Natural wear is expected.
7. How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Submit a request via our Returns & Issue Form
- Upload clear photos or videos
- Our team will assess or contact the manufacturer
- If approved, we’ll repair, replace or refund
If a claim is declined, the item can be returned to you at your cost.
